Lauren and Tom were such a great couple to work with. They were both so genuine, nice, friendly, and relaxed! Their wedding was filled with love for each other and from family and friends. It took place at a little country church outside of town, but was absolutely adorable. The bright blue, yellow, and pink colors popped together and the vintage touches at the reception were so cute with heirloom wedding dresses from relatives being displayed!
The two decided not to see each other beforehand, but we still planned time to do some bridal portraits, pictures with the bridesmaids and groomsmen separately, and some family pictures. It always helps to plan a timeline for photography! During the wedding, they decided to do a special ceremony called “A Cord of Three” which is braided together to represent the couple with God at the center. After the ceremony we did pictures of the whole wedding party as well as portraits of the Bride and Groom that turned out absolutely stunning if I do say so myself 😉 The reception also took place at the church and was very laid back, relaxed, and a perfect setting to gather with family and friends. The decorations all came from family and friends antique collections. My favorite part was the vintage wedding dresses from Lauren and Tom’s mothers as well as a few other family members. Finally they were sent off with the church bells ringing and bird seed thrown……and when I say thrown, I really mean pelted! It looked painful! Ha ha, but the took it like champs! Although I may use their experience to highly recommend bubbles to other couples!!
