I had so much fun shooting this gorgeous wedding in Arkansas. I loved the vintage feel. The girls wore beige dresses and there were pops of purple in the details. The guys had classic suspenders and bowties with the groom in a vest. It was at a beautiful outdoor venue with wooden decks that had lights hung across to give the evening a romantic feel and provide the perfect place to dance the night away. It was an August wedding and I was expecting 100 degree weather as a Phoenix, Arizona wedding photographer. Luckily, the temperature dropped and the rain stayed away. It couldn’t have been a more perfect evening!
The couple chose to do a first look before the wedding. They had a fun and intimate moment that we captured and then we had plenty of time for photographs before the weddings so that afterwards, we could go right into the reception!
I loved the uniqueness of this wedding and the laidback happy-go-lucky couple!! At the beginning of the ceremony they had a procession of grannies! It was so cute! Then of course the three flower girls were adorable, and the whole ceremony was beautiful. For dinner, they had a food truck which I thought was such a fun idea! They also had slushy machines which may or may not have had alcohol in them 🙂 The Bride and Groom had a beautiful first dance and later everyone started getting their groove on. Before I knew it glow sticks were everywhere! There was also a special performances from some groomsmen doing a rendition of Backstreet Boys! The other vendors at the wedding were also amazing including Mike Harris Media with three videographers! To end the night they had a send off with sparklers!
