The third major control to learn on your camera is the ISO settings. The ISO changes how sensitive your camera is to available light. As a Phoenix, Arizona Wedding Photographer, this is a very important setting. When at all possible, natural lighting (outdoor or indoor with many windows) is always the best and produces the best photographs, however many wedding will take place indoors in darker areas, especially receptions. Some photographers choose to use flash, and some photographers just change their ISO settings. Both provide a very different look of photo. I do both in specific situations. Lower ISO settings or numbers mean that the camera will be less sensitive to light, so these will be used in outdoor sunny situations or when using flash. Higher settings or numbers mean the camera will be more sensitive to light so these will be used indoors. Depending on your camera, the quality may not be very good after a certain higher number ISO. As a Phoenix, Arizona Wedding photographer, I use professional cameras that have great quality in low light.
